Karen L (Coldren) Murphy

Karen L. Murphy, 68, North Manchester, IN passed away at 10:37 a.m. Wednesday, March 14, 2018 in her residence.  She was born July 28, 1949 in Warsaw, IN to Keith B. & Audrey J. (Jackson) Coldren.  She graduated from Manchester High School in 1967 and received an Associate Degree from Ivy Tech.  She and her family moved to North Manchester from Liberty Mills, IN when she was 12 years old.  Karen was employed at Invensys Controls, North Manchester, IN for many years and was an Avon representative for several years.  She was currently employed at  Combined Community Services, Warsaw, IN for several years.  She was an avid bowler and pet lover and loved spending time spoiling her grandchildren.  She is survived by her daughter, Tamara L. (Scott) Boocher, Roann, IN; brother, Dan (Marlene) Coldren, Claypool, IN; sisters, Judy Bone, Warsaw, IN, Margaret (Charles) McGuire, Kokomo, IN and Mary Jo Steininger, Akron, IN; grandchildren, Ian Boocher, Roann, IN and Brihanna Boocher, Roann, IN. One brother, Kevin Coldren, is deceased.  Family and friends may call Saturday, March 17, 2018 from 12:00-3:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, IN.  Services will be Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, IN.  Pastor J. P. Freeman will officiate.  The family will have a carry in dinner at the Scout Hall in Warvel Park, North Manchester, IN following the service. For those who wish to honor the memory of Karen L.
