Martha L (Stinebaugh) Yohe

Martha L. Yohe, 92, North Manchester, IN passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2017 in Timbercrest Senior Living Community, North Manchester, IN.  She was born November 22, 1924 in Onward, IN to Rev. Walter & Merle (Spitler) Stinebaugh.  On June 8, 1947 she married R. Lowell Yohe. He passed away January 28, 2014.  Martha was a teacher having taught one year at Pitsburg, OH, 5 years at Jefferson Center, Whitley County, IN, 5th grade at South Whitley Elementary for 5 years, Thorncreek in Whitley County for 4 years and elementary music at Wabash 1969-1970.  She was a member of Manchester Church of the Brethren, North Manchester, IN and Indiana State Teachers Association and Retired Teachers Association.  She is survived by sons, Richard Yohe, South Whitley, IN and Pat Yohe, Ottawa, OH; daughter, Rebecca (Bill Shank) Brock, Fort Wayne, IN; brother, Vernon Stinebaugh, York, PA; sister Mary Etta Holsopple, Goshen, IN; nine grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.  One brother, Galen Stinebaugh, is deceased.  Memorial service will be November 18, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. at Timbercrest Chapel, 2201 East Street, North Manchester, IN.  The family will receive friends following the service.  Pastor Karen Eberly will officiate.  For those who wish to honor the memory of Martha Yohe, memorial contributions may be made to Timbercrest Charitable Assistance Fund, PO Box 501, North Manchester, IN 46962.
