Peggy L. (Parker) Iholtz

Peggy L. Iholtz, 83, North Manchester, Indiana went home to be with Jesus at 10:45 p.m. on May 12, 2017. Peggy passed away at Peabody Retirement Community, North Manchester. She was born on February 5, 1934 to Dale L. and Mary Elizabeth (Gray) Parker in Sidney, Indiana. On December 31. 1953 Peggy married E. William "Bill" Iholtz. He passed away on April 24, 2011. Peggy was an active member of the Congregational Christian Church, North Manchester where she was a deaconess and was involved in the Funeral Dinner Ministry, as well as helping to prepare the Community Breakfast. Peggy was a kind, sweet woman who really cared for other people. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family. She is survived by one son Michael William (Susan) Iholtz, Bippus, Indiana; two daughters Gloria Jean (Gene) Gottschalk, South Whitley, Indiana and Barbara Ann (Frank) Edwards, Wabash, Indiana; one brother Roger Lee Parker, Roann; two sisters Jean Klutz, North Manchester and Linda Mae Parker, North Manchester; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Peggy is preceded in death by her husband Bill Iholtz and one grandchild. Family and friends may call Wednesday, May 17, 2017 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, Indiana. Services will be held at Congregational Christian Church, Thursday, May 18, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. with calling one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Swank Cemetery, North Manchester, Indiana. Pastor J.P. Freeman will officiate. For those who wish to honor the memory of Peggy L.
