Timothy "Tim" C Jackson Sr.

Timothy “Tim” C. Jackson, Sr., 62, North Manchester, Indiana passed away at 11:22 a.m. on December 19, 2017 at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Son of Clinton and Marjorie Pauline (Floor) Jackson, Tim was born on July 3, 1955 in Rochester, Indiana.

Working a variety of jobs, such as, Nickel Plate Railroad, Mike’s Car Wash, a security guard, and at BKB Manufacturing, gave Tim a well round professional knowledge, before health issues forced his retirement in 1997.

On February 10, 1996, Tim married Kathy Abbott. He enjoyed going to flea markets, working on cars and being outside, but most of all he loved fishing with his son TJ. Tim is now finally reunited in heaven, with his family and favorite dog, Nubbins.

The loving memory of Tim will be forever remembered by his wife, Kathy Jackson, North Manchester, Indiana; sons, Timothy “TJ” C. Jackson Jr., Huntington, Indiana & Timothy C. Jackson II, Huntington, IN; daughters, April Redding, Huntington, IN and Angel Johnson, Alexandria, IN; one step son, Jeffrey Abbott, North Manchester, Indiana; one step daughter, Jennifer (Jamey) Goble, Pierceton, Indiana; one sister, Sharon (Darrell) Hopkins, North Manchester, Indiana; one step brother, George (Kathy) Bumgardner; two step sisters, Virginia (Herbert) Gunter and Sheila (Randy) Frederick;  nine grandchildren and one great grandson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clinton and Marjorie Pauline Jackson and one brother Terry Lee Jackson and 2 grandchildren.

Family and friends may call Saturday, December 23, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, Indiana. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 noon at McKee Mortuary. Burial will be at Akron Cemetery, Akron, Indiana. Pastor J.P. Freeman will officiate.
