Jon T Fawley

Jon T. Fawley, 58, North Manchester, Indiana passed away at 5:15 p.m. on August 7, 2018 at Parkview Regional Hospital, Fort Wayne, Indiana. The younger of two children, Jon was born on November 25, 1959 in Wabash, Indiana to Harold L. and Joan (Ringenberg) Fawley.

After graduating high school from Manchester in 1978, Jon went on to Manchester College where he graduated in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business.  Two years after graduating college, Jon married the love of his life, Pamela Schroll. The two were married on September 23, 1984 and had two children together.

Jon worked hard to provide for his family. He worked at the Hook's Drug Store in North Manchester, Indiana for several years as a floor manager. After leaving Hook's Drug Store, Jon went on to manage several Dollar General stores and since 2012, he worked for Synergy Feeds, South Whitley, Indiana in customer service.

When Jon wasn’t working or with his family, he enjoyed collecting coins and toy farm tractors. He also liked helping people by cutting and curing firewood for several families in the region. Besides his family, attending North Manchester Missionary Church was very important. Jon was also passionate about organ donation and encouraged others to donate organ tissue as well.

Jon will be dearly missed by his wife of 33 years, Pamela Fawley, North Manchester, Indiana; two sons, Ross Fawley, North Manchester, Indiana and Ryan (Sara) Fawley, Rochester, Indiana; father, Harold L. Fawley; one brother, Jay R. Fawley, North Manchester, Indiana; two grandchildren, Eliott and Payzlee Fawley both of Rochester, Indiana; and mother-in-law, Beverly A. Schroll, Warsaw, Indiana. Jon is preceded in death by his mother, Joan Fawley, who passed away on January 6, 2003; and one sister-in-law, Lisa Fawley, who passed away on June 2, 2014.

Family and friends may call Saturday, August 11, 2018 from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, Indiana. Funeral services for Jon T. Fawley will begin on Sunday, August 12, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. with calling one hour prior at North Manchester Missionary Church, 806 State Road 114 East, North Manchester, Indiana. Pastor Ken Sistrunk will officiate. Burial will be at Oaklawn Cemetery, 600 Beckley Street, North Manchester, Indiana.
