Margaret "Peggy" M (McNamara) Briscoe

Margaret M. "Peggy" McNamara Briscoe, 93, North Manchester, IN passed away Monday, April 16, 2018 in Wabash County Hospital, Wabash, IN.  She was born December 31, 1924 in St. Louis, MO to Leo & Anastasia (Casey) McNamara.  On February 14, 1948 she married Charles G. Briscoe.  He passed away April 16, 2003. She was a secretary for the State of Missouri Employment Office for 20 years.  Peggy loved crocheting, her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She was a member of St. Robert's Bellarmine Catholic Church, North Manchester, IN and The American Legion Auxiliary Post #402.  She lived in St. Louis, MO from 1924-1996.  She is survived by her son, Michael G. (Michele Browder) Briscoe, North Manchester, IN; sons-in-law, Skip Wollenberg, St. Louis, MO and Ronald Zimmerman, St. Louis, MO; sister, Joanne Frain, St. Louis, MO; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.  Two daughters, Janet I. Zimmerman and Ellen M. Wollenberg, are deceased.  Family and friends may call April 25, 2018 from 12:00-1:00 p.m. at St. Robert's Bellarmine Catholic Church, North Manchester, IN. Services April 25, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Robert's Bellarmine Catholic Church, North Manchester, IN.  Father Andrew Curry will officiate.  Burial will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.  For those who wish to honor the memory of Margaret "Peggy" Briscoe, memorial contributions may be made to St. Robert's Bellarmine Catholic Church, 1203 IN-114, North Manchester, IN 46962
