Dottie and I send our condolences to the Barger family and all other family members. We only knew Phyllis through her brother (our son in law) Rod. We know that Phyllis is no longer suffering and in a better place. May she rest in peace, until we all meet again.....down the road.

We send our sympathies to you all, and are praying that God will comfort your hearts in abundance. We have fond memories of your dear wife/mother from many years together at WLGBC. One memory that will forever linger is her aversion to using any paper napkins ~ cloth napkins it was! Every time we use cloth napkins we think of her.

I didn't know Phyllis well, or for very long, but from my brief encounter in this life with her as a neighbor and FaceBook friend, I know with confidence she was guided and sustained by God's Grace and Love. We are all here in the flesh for a little while; but her spirit of love, goodness and kindness, will live on into eternity. By her being, and God's Grace, she will live on thru you, by you and in you. Tricia, You have been blessed to have a Mother such as Phyllis. In time, I hope you can take comfort in that. ( and she was a John Grisham fan?? my kind of Gal!!)

Phyllis was a wonderful lady inside and out! I had the privilege of working closely with her for a few years at Peabody. She always had inspirational words of wisdom and faith and of course the best telephone voice! I haven't seen her for a few years but always kept in touch on social media and I will miss receiving Christmas cards from her each year. My deepest sympathy to Tom, Patricia, and her cherished grandsons.

Dearest Trish, Kip, Jacob, Noah and Tom I am so sorry for your loss. Phyliss was such a great person. I enjoyed working with her at Beacon and just knowing her in general. I was so glad I stopped in a month ago to see her she was such an encourager to me when I was going through my many knee surgery's. May God give you peace and comfort at this time.
