Raymond Lisby Obituary

Raymond L. Lisby, 83, North Manchester went home to be with his Lord and Savior on October 9, 2018 at 10:11 p.m. in his residence. Ray was born on August 29, 1935 to William R. Lisby Sr. and Elizabeth Ellen Lisby in Indianapolis.

A man that was proud to serve his country, Ray served in the Navy during the Korean War. On May 21, 1989 Ray married his best friend Betty Heckard. The two spent 29 years married. Together they were members of Christian Fellowship Church, North Manchester. Religion and faith were the most important aspects of life to Ray. He faithfully served God and His word. For those who knew Ray described him as a kind person that loved being around people, an avid fisherman and a man that took great pride in keeping the church looking nice as well as his home, especially the yard.
