A. Margaret Herring-Royer, 86, North Manchester, IN died at 12:55 p.m. Saturday, December 27, 2014 in Timbercrest Healthcare Center, North Manchester, IN. She was born December 31, 1927 in Aloha Township, Cheboygan, MI to George & Anna (Pellenz) Barr. On August 29, 1947 she married Vernal W. Herring. He died May 6, 2002. She then married Dee M. Royer on August 11, 2007. She was a retired Juvenile officer and social worker. She was a member of North Manchester United Methodist Church, North Manchester, IN and a life member of the Order of Eastern Star holding numerous local and state offices. She had been a resident of Timbercrest Senior Living Community with husband since 2007. She is survived by her husband, Dee M. Royer, North Manchester, IN; one daughter, Ann L. (Gregory P.) Hermann, Fond de Lac, WI; one brother, Bryant Barr, Cheboygan, MI; one sister Barbara Miller, Tuscon, AZ; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. One brother, George Barr, is deceased. One half brother and four sisters are deceased.
Family and friends may call Tuesday, December 30, 2014 from 9:00-10:00 a.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, IN. Services Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, IN.

Calling in Michigan will be Friday, January 2, 2015 from 2:00-4:00 & 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Nordman-Christian Funeral Home, Cheboygan, MI with Eastern Star Service at 7:00 p.m.. Services will be Saturday, January 3, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul's Methodist Church, Cheboygan, MI.
Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, Cheboygan, MI.
