Angelia "Angie" Sue Preston

Angelia "Angie" Sue Preston, born on August 6, 1961, in Williamson, West Virginia, to Ronald Lee and Patricia Gay (Gillum) Kirk, passed away peacefully at her home on May 4, 2025 surrounded by her loving husband and sister. A beloved member of her community, Angie was known for her warm personality and her deep-rooted faith.

Angie attended of Turman High School. She dedicated a portion of her professional life to serving others as a phlebotomist at Kosciusko Community Hospital. Her true passion, however, lay in her work as a waitress, where she found joy in her interactions with people. Throughout her career, she waitressed in various establishments across Texas and Indiana, always cherishing the connections she made.

On June 24, 2010 Angie married Roger Preston. Together they shared a wonderful life filled with loved. Angie’s faith was an integral part of her life; she was a devoted member of Faith Harvest Fellowship in Wabash, where she worshiped her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Angie held a deep affection for her dog, Sadie, and treated her as family. Her love extended to her friends and family as well, for she believed in the inherent goodness of every individual and engaged openly with those around her.

The loving memory of Angelia “Angie” Preston will be forever cherished by her father, Ronald Lee Kirk, Trenton, Michigan; husband, Roger Preston, North Manchester; sons, Lonnie Ronald (Ashley Weisenstein, Romulus, Michigan and Lonnie Richard (Taylor) Weisenstein, Taylor, Michigan; step-son, Jeremey Preston, Elkhart, Indiana; sister, Marianne Kirk, North Manchester; four grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and her beloved dog, Sadie. Angie was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Gay (Gillum) Kirk; and sister, Rhonda Chalfant.

The family of Angelia Preston will grieve privately.
