Carolyn "Carol" Ann Paul

Carolyn "Carol" Ann Paul, born on April 1, 1944, in Mason, Michigan, to Clayton and Margaret (Bradley) Ray, passed away on October 26, 2025, at Betz Nursing Home in Auburn, Indiana. She was 81 years old.

After graduating from high school in 1962, Carol married John Eugene Paul on March 3, 1962, creating a partnership rooted in love and faith. Together, they cherished the blessings of family, raising three children. John sadly predeceased her on November 14, 2015.

For many years, she embraced the role of a children's ministry leader, nurturing young minds and guiding them in their understanding of the Lord. She held a special place in her heart for children, believing passionately in their potential and the importance of spiritual education.

Carol was a member of New Heights Baptist Church in Fort Wayne, where she found fellowship and community. Her love for the Lord was apparent in all aspects of her life, and she inspired those around her with her kindness and compassion. Family was the cornerstone of Carol's life. She adored her children and grandchildren, often spending cherished moments with them. Additionally, she found joy in playing cards, particularly games like Euchre and Hand and Foot.

The loving memory of Carol Paul will be forever cherished by her children, Brooke (Jill) Paul, Columbus, Ohio, Derek (Lily) Paul, Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Rhoda (Tim) Ragle, Fort Wayne, Indiana; sisters, Linda Wotring, Toledo, Ohio, Kay (Ross) Collette, Florida, and Darlene Freed, Fort Wayne, Indiana; grandchildren, Jacob (fiancée Chelsea Hines) Needham, Elizabeth Belcher, Wesley Needham, Brigette Needham, Tiffany Ragle, Phaedra Paul, Beckham Paul, and Benjamin Paul; and great-grandchildren, Anna-Jane Belcher, Jaci-Lynn Belcher, and Cullen Minser. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Clayton Ray and Margaret Weirick; husband, John Paul; and sister, Peggy Elliott.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 1, 2025 at 2:30 p.m. at Mckee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, Indiana, with Pastor Gary Lovens officiating. Burial will be held at Oaklawn Cemetery in North Manchester, Indiana.
