Charles Alan Stanley, four years old, died due to a tragic accident Friday morning, May 30, 2025, at his home in North Manchester. He was born May 1, 2021 to Nathan and Mikayla (Genovese) Stanley in Wabash, Indiana.
A bright, charming child, he delighted his family and all who knew him. He loved animals, nature, and singing. One of his favorite things was “reading” picture books to his little brother.
Charlie is survived by his parents, Nathan and Mikayla Stanley; his baby brother, Teddy; his loving Nonna, Laurie Kieffaber Cornett; grandparents, Jenny and Doug Stanley; uncle and aunts, James and Heather Stanley, Kristin James; grandfather, Brian Genovese; great-grandmother, Marilyn Kieffaber and great-grandmother, Mary Jo Riffle; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Charlie was predeceased by his grandmother, Bonnie Kieffaber Genovese; great-grandmother, Sandra Stanley; great-grandfather, Alan Kieffaber; and great-grandmother, Nancy Eichelberger.
May you rest in peace, dear Charlie, held in God’s loving arms. You brought us so much joy, and we will never forget you.
Family and friends may call Saturday, June 14, 2025 from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. at the Wabash Church of the Brethren, 645 Bond Street, Wabash, Indiana. A celebration of Charlie’s life will begin at the conclusion of calling with Pastor Lisa Fike officiating.
