Under the mentorship of Mike Snyder at Bender Funeral Home, David polished his skills and compassion for serving families during their times of grief. Beyond his professional achievements, David was a former member and Past President of the Laketon Lions Club, showcasing his dedication to community service. He had a variety of interests that brought him joy, including watching westerns, going on cruises, and vacationing in Mexico and Florida, where he enjoyed the beach. Pontoon rides around the lake were special moments for David, especially with his family. David also had a passion for painting in watercolor.

David was known for his quiet demeanor yet deeply held strength and compassion. As a Christian man, he exemplified these qualities in both his personal life and professional vocation. He will be remembered not only for his professional dedication but for his kindness, his love for his family, and the warm memories he created with those around him.
