Deborah J (Stanton) Mefford

Deborah J. Mefford, 56, North Manchester, IN passed away at 1:25 a.m. Friday, December 22, 2017 in her residence.  She was born December 15, 1961 in Mishawaka, IN to Daniel Sr. & Joyce (Klingamon) Stanton.  She graduated from Ivy Tech, South Bend, IN where she received an Associate Degree in nursing.  She was a nurse for 30 years at various nursing facilities in South Bend, IN.  She devoted her life to nursing, her family and helping others.  She is survived by her mother, Joyce Stanton, North Manchester, IN; her companion of 32 years, James Gray, North Manchester, IN; son, David M. Mefford, North Manchester, IN; brothers, John Stanton, Kokomo, IN, Daniel Stanton, Claypool, IN, Kenny Stanton, Claypool, IN and Herb Stanton, Claypool, IN; sisters, Mary Richardson, Claypool, IN, Sherri Garris, Warsaw, IN and Becky (John) Hetzner, North Manchester, IN.  One sister, Sandy Enyart, is deceased. Services will be at a later date.
