She was born on November 18, 1949 in Philadelphia, PA to Marvin C. "Bud" & Dorothy May (Yost) Beck. Dottie was a beautician and member of St. Robert's Catholic Church, North Manchester, IN. She is survived by one daughter, Jodi (Nick) Rittman, Columbus, IN; one brother, Marvin "Pete" Beck; one sister, Linda L. Beck; and two grandchildren, Parker Rittman and Sloan Rittman.
