Douglas "Doug" Scott Krull

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Douglas Scott Krull, who passed away on May 31, 2024, at the age of 55. Doug was born on September 28, 1968, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to his loving parents Dana and Sherry (Burd) Krull.

After graduating from Whitko High School in 1987, Doug married Jennifer Lynn Reynolds on August 30, 1997. Doug dedicated 17 years of his life to his career at Steel Dynamics, Inc. He carried out his duties with diligence and skill, leaving a lasting impact on everyone he worked with. Outside of his professional life, Doug found joy in spending time outdoors, hauling, cutting, plowing and digging with any and all machinery.

Doug was a hardworking and compassionate man who deeply valued family. He delighted in creating memories with his children, particularly watching all of their various sporting events. He also had a passion for bargain hunting on Marketplace and took pleasure in the company of his three beloved dogs. His heart swelled with pride for his children and grandchildren.

The loving memory of Doug Krull will be forever cherished by his parents, Dana and Sherry Krull, Leesburg; wife, Jennifer Krull, Claypool; children, Kaden (Ashton) Krull, Laketon, Kolten (Chelsea) Krull, Columbia City, Kennedy Krull, Kreeden (Bailey) Krull, and Kyler Krull, all of Claypool; brother, Brian (Teri) Krull, Claypool; sister, Mandy (T.J.) Himes, Columbia City; mother-in-law, Libby Reynolds, North Manchester; and three grandsons, Asher, Blayne, and Knox Krull. Doug was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Larry Reynolds.

Family and friends may call Monday, June 3, 2024 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. with calling beginning at 10:00 a.m. at McKee Mortuary, with Pastor Brandon Holler officiating. Burial will be held at Clemmers, Fishers, Ross Cemetery, 3904 East 900 South, Claypool, Indiana.
