Florrie "Chris" Caldwell Sears, 95, formerly of the Silver Lake & Claypool area died August 19, 2011. She was born March 18, 1916 in Silver Lake, IN to Leroy W. & Anna (Jaques) Caldwell. She married George M. Sears. He is deceased. She was a 1934 graduate of Silver Lake High School, a member of Indiana Organic Growers and Indiana Wildlife Artists. She is survived by three sons; one sister, Anita Hamaker; one grandchild and two great grandchildren. Two brothers, William Caldwell and McClure Caldwell, are deceased. Services are Saturday, October 15, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Graceland Cemetery, Claypool, IN . Pastor Evelyn Taylor-Haney of the Claypool United Methodist Church will officiate.
