Gary Wayne Morris

Gary Wayne Morris, 70, of Columbia City, Indiana, passed away at his home on August 26, 2026. Born on January 29, 1956, in Knox, Indiana, Gary was the son of Edward and Edna Mavis (Lawson) Morris. He graduated from Knox High School in 1974 and went on to build a long career in truck driving, specializing in flatbed freight. For more than thirty-five years, he worked both for himself and for various companies, devoting much of his life to the road and to the work he knew well. Earlier in his life, Gary attended Zion Lutheran Church in North Manchester.

The loving memory of Gary Wayne Morris will be forever cherished by his son, Bradly (Tammy) Morris; brothers, Richard (Martha) Morris, Michael Morris, Billy (Judy) Morris, and Alvin (Wendy) Morris; sister, Marjorie Ellert; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Edna Mavis Morris.

The family will grieve privately. Gary’s care and final arrangements have been entrusted to McKee Mortuary.
