George W. Deeter, age 83, passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 in Georgetown, Texas. George was born and raised in Whitley County, Indiana and graduated from the Indiana University in1952. He married Patricia Lois Schroll in 1952. After his service in the Air Force for 4 years he moved his family to Houston, Texas where he worked for Conoco for 30 years. He retired in 1984 and had a wonderful time traveling, collecting clocks, along with many other hobbies. Surviving family include his wife, Patricia; daughter, Jan; and his sisters, Arlene Switzer and Frances Hartman. He is preceded in death by his son, Matthew. Arrangements entrusted to McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, IN.
