Gladys E (Greer) Fingerle

Gladys E. Fingerle, 88, North Manchester, IN passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at 4:15 a.m. in her daughter's residence, Peru, IN. She was born October 7, 1929 in Wabash County, IN to Aaron D. & Mabel F. (Metzger) Greer.  On September 19, 1948 she married Robert H. Fingerle.  He passed away June 17, 2007.  She was a homemaker, cleaned houses and was co-owner with her husband, Robert, in their business, Kosco Peat Moss in Silver Lake, IN from 1948-1965.  She is survived by her daughters, Donna R. (Michael) Wray, Peru, IN and Karen S. (Patrick) Wray, Greenville, OH; sister, Deloris L. Walters, North Manchester, IN; eight grandchildren, forty-four great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.  One son, John Robert Fingerle, three brothers, Everett Greer, Donald Greer & Galen Greer, and two sisters, Dorothy Wagoner & Esther Frantz, are deceased.  Family & friends may call Friday, October 27, 2017 from 2:00-5:00 & 6:00-8:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, IN.  Services Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Old German Baptist Brethren Church, State Road 13 North, North Manchester, IN.  Home Brethren will officiate.  Burial will be in Old German Baptist Brethren Cemetery, North Manchester, IN.
