Gloria "Sue" Piper

Gloria "Sue" Piper, 75, North Manchester, passed away on October 1, 2025, at the Kosciusko Community Hospital in Warsaw, Indiana. Born on June 1, 1950, in Wabash, Indiana, Sue was a woman of deep faith and creativity, a passionate owner of the Brass Tac Frame Shop.

Sue was the cherished daughter of Ralph and Theda (Haupert) Ogan and graduated in 1968 from Manchester High School. On July 30, 1988, she married Max L. Piper, with whom she shared many loving years. Together, they built a life filled with joy and a strong sense of family.

Sue's commitment to her community was evident through her active participation in her women's Bible study group at Emmanuel Community Church, a role she treasured until her health prevented her from doing so. Her rich personality shone through in her many hobbies; she found joy in working with Longaberger baskets and nurturing her garden, where she created a sanctuary of beauty and peace.

While her career and interests were important to her, Sue's greatest joy came from the moments spent with her family. She cherished gatherings that brought her loved ones together, relishing in the warmth and love of those she held dear.

Sue's legacy is one of creativity, faith, and an unwavering love for her family. She will be fondly remembered by all who knew her for her kindness, dedication, and vibrant spirit.

The loving memory of Sue Piper will be forever cherished by her children, Sean (Jacqueline Luhta) Brandenburg, Key West, Florida, Tanya Kirby, Indianapolis, and Shanen (Kristi) Piper, Westfield; brother, Stan Ogan, North Manchester; and grandchildren, Zachary and Kinsey Piper. Sue was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Max Piper.

A celebration of Sue’s life will take place November 6, 2025 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, Indiana.
