Harold Lee Brandenburg Jr., born February 3, 1971, in South Korea, passed away on May 9, 2026. He was the beloved son of Harold Lee and Yong Y. (Pak) Brandenburg Sr. His father’s deployment to South Korea led to him meeting Yong, a meeting that would change both their lives, and when Harold was only eight months old, they moved to the United States.
Harold’s life journey began with his education at Whitko High School, from which he graduated in 1989. Shortly after, in 1990, Harold met Michele Shepherd, beginning a loving relationship that blossomed into marriage on July 31, 1992. Together, they shared a life full of love, adventure, and family. They raised four children—Kody, Kalvin, Kaylene, and Misha—whom Harold deeply loved. A dedicated and hardworking machinist, Harold worked at Tecomet in Warsaw, for over twenty years on the first shift.
A man of many facets, Harold was known for his honesty and unwavering support for those he loved. Though initially reserved, Harold’s true character shone through once you had the privilege of knowing him, revealing a loyal and caring friend with a quick wit and great sense of humor. His generosity extended beyond his family, as he constantly sought to help those in need. Throughout his life, Harold had numerous lifelong friends.
Family was at the heart of Harold’s life. He delighted in spending quality time with Michele, their children, and especially his grandchildren, whom he loved watching play ball. Together, they enjoyed vacations, went camping, and countless memorable adventures.
