Harold "Randy" Randall Hileman

Harold "Randy" Randall Hileman, born on August 11, 1956, in Rochester, Indiana, to Harold and Ruth (Brookins) Hileman, passed away on August 4, 2026, at the Autumn Ridge Rehabilitation Centre in Wabash, Indiana. Randy's journey was one marked by quiet dedication, hard work, and an abiding commitment to those he loved.

A proud member of the last graduating class of Akron High School in 1974, would later earn certificates in Electronics from Ivy Tech. Randy dedicated most of his professional life to working in maintenance at Singer Controls. After Singer Controls closed, he continued his career at Maple Leaf Farms. Unfortunately, health problems in later years made it necessary for Randy to retire.

Those who knew Randy will remember him best as a homebody with an incredible knack for woodworking and a seemingly limitless ability to repair anything and everything around him. Whether tinkering in his workshop or lending a hand with a household fix, Randy's craftsmanship and willingness to help were always evident. Beyond his practical talents, he will be remembered as a supportive father—steadfast, dependable, and deeply caring.

The loving memory of Randy Hileman will be forever cherished by his children, Josh (Danielle) Hileman of Winamac and Jennifer (Caleb) Breske of La Fontaine; brothers, Chuck (Connie) Hileman of Warsaw and Dale (Debbie) Hileman of Akron; sister, Christine (Dan) Bixler of Andrews; and grandchildren, John Jocelyn and Kinzey Hileman. Randy was preceded in death by his parents.

Family and friends may call Friday, August 7, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester. Funeral services will begin at the conclusion of calling with Pastor J.P. Freeman officiating. Burial will be held at Oaklawn Cemetery in North Manchester, Indiana.
