Herbert W. Shambarger, 85, North Manchester, IN died at 2:40 a.m. Monday, February 23, 2015 in Timbercrest Healthcare Center, North Manchester, IN. He was born March 7, 1929 in Macy, IN to Lewis & Bernice (Cover) Shambarger. On November 30, 1947 he married Doris I. Frantz. He was a lifetime farmer. Herbert is survived by his wife, Doris Shambarger, North Manchester, IN; two sons, Fred Shambarger, North Manchester, IN and Jeff (Beth) Shambarger, Roann, IN; two daughters, Elaine (Tom) Gearhart, Silver Lake, IN and Ginny (Curt) Falk, North Manchester, IN; seven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Three brothers and five sisters are deceased. Family & Friends may call Wednesday, February 25, 2015 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, IN. Services Thursday, February 26, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, IN. Larry Cripe & Richard Brovont will officiate.
