He was a proud member of the Masonic Lodge, Shriners, Scottish Rite, American Legion Post 286, and he led the Lions Club of North Manchester as president. Jack’s passion for sports was evident in the thirty years he dedicated to officiating basketball and football games, as well as his years enjoying slow pitch softball. He delighted in rooting for the Chicago Cubs, Indiana University teams, and the Manchester Squires, where he was a card holder since 1962.
