Jerry G. Egolf

Jerry G. Egolf, born on September 22, 1941, in Wabash, Indiana, to Leland Earl and Emma Lenore Egolf Sr., passed away on June 30, 2025, at his home in North Manchester. He leaves behind a legacy that reflects his dedication and hard work.

After attending Manchester High School, Jerry embarked on a lifelong journey in the field of welding, establishing his own business and devotedly operating it for over fifty years. In addition to his successful career, Jerry was a volunteer firefighter for the town of North Manchester for many years. Outside of work and service, Jerry had a passion for classic cars and collecting a plethora of different things over the years.

The loving memory of Jerry G. Egolf will be forever cherished by his companion of fifty years, Deborah Chalk, North Manchester; sons, Shane (Corinne) Egolf, Fort Wayne, Greg Egolf, North Manchester, and Scotty Egolf, North Manchester; brothers, Robert “Bob” Egolf, North Manchester and Thomas Egolf, Iowa; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Leland Earl “Lee” Egolf Jr. and Russell Lee “Pudge” Egolf; and sisters, Helen Joan Tordoff and Doris Earlene Zakhi.

Family and friends may call Monday, July 7, 2025 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, Indiana. A celebration of Jerry’s life will begin at the conclusion of calling, with Pastor J.P. Freeman officiating.
