Joyce Ann (Fugate) Simmons

Joyce Ann Simmons, 58, North Manchester, IN passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2018 in her residence.  She was born in Jackson, KY to Jake Bittie & Ann Ruth (Robinson) Fugate.  Joyce was a published author of children's books.  She loved crocheting and made several blankets for family members and charities.  She is survived by sons, Robert J. Fugate, Lexington, KY and Jessie Jacob (Phelisha) White, Hazard, KY; daughters, Annabelle (Brian) Perez, North Manchester, IN, Joanna Turner, Jackson, KY and Sherrianne (Vicey) Robinson, Jackson, KY; brothers, Jackie (Madiline) Fugate, Jackson, KY and Larry Fugate, Van Cleve, KY; sisters, Brenda (Bobby) Neace, Van Cleve, KY and Alice Ritchie, North Manchester, IN and 13 grandchildren. One daughter, Teresa Gail Fugate, is deceased.  Services will be held Sunday, March 18, 2018 in Jackson, KY.
