Her professional journey was diverse and fulfilling; she dedicated ten years as a Dispatcher for a trucking company, lent her organizational skills to Cardinal Services, and served as the church secretary at Sweetwater Assembly of God. Fields Jr., Fort Wayne, Keith (Melissa) Fields, Pueblo, Colorado, Roy Fields, and Robert “Bobby” (Alicia) Fields, both of North Manchester; daughters, Valerie (Gerald) West, Merrillville, Cassandra (Andrew) Gemmer, Decatur, and Judith “Beth” Anderson, Wabash; brother, Donald Ammer, Merrillville; sisters, Pat Kalina, Valparaiso, Pamela (Jim) Turpin, Shari (Ken) Miller, and Debbie (Gary Jordan) Ammer, all of Hobart; thirteen grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren.
