Kenneth "Kenny" Ray Marcum

Kenneth "Kenny" Ray Marcum, 49, of Liberty Mills, passed away at his home on July 17, 2025. Born on July 20, 1975, in Wabash, Kenny is the son of Tony Marcum and Brenda (Shepherd) England.

Kenny dedicated many years of his life to working at the Warsaw Foundry, and he also made significant contributions in the construction field. In his leisure time, Kenny found joy in working on bicycles and radios, indulging his creative spirit. He was known to attend Liberty Mills Church of the Brethren.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Kenny was a gifted storyteller, captivating those around him with animated tales that often had everyone roaring with laughter. His unique ability to create joyous moments extended beyond his stories; he was known for his whimsical dances and catchy raps that brought smiles to the faces of friends and family alike. He embraced life with an open heart and welcomed everyone into his circle, exemplifying what it truly meant to be a host.

Family was everything to Kenny. He was a devoted son, a protective brother to his sisters, and a cherished "momma's boy." His adoration for his grandchildren was boundless, and they were a source of immense joy in his life.

The loving memory of Kenneth “Kenny” Marcum will be forever cherished by his mother, Brenda England, North Manchester; children, Madeline (Mario Sorto) Marcum, Indianapolis, Ian Avery Chandler, Columbus, Ohio, and Kayden Robert Marcum; siblings, Lisa (Samuel) Strike, Thomas Abraham Marcum, Brandy Hatfield, Moniqua (Matt) Bonewitz, all of North Manchester, Henry (Ashley) Hatfield, Huntington, Keith Marcum, and Jennifer Marcum, both of North Manchester; grandchildren, Alejandro Sorto, Lina Sorto, Viviana Sorto, Alejandra Sorto; and his girlfriend of eight years, Mariya Sheppard, Liberty, Mills. Kenny was preceded in death by his father, Tony Marcum; and brothers, Tony Marcum Jr. and Joshua Marcum.

Family and friends may call Saturday, July 19, 2025 from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, Indiana. Funeral services will begin at the conclusion of calling with Pastor John Dotson officiating. Burial will be held at Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester, Indiana.
