Linda Lou Juillerat

Linda Lou Juillerat, aged 82, of North Manchester, Indiana, passed away on July 29, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on September 27, 1942, in Huntington, Indiana, Linda was the daughter of the late Charles Albert and Louise Emma (Holley) Denton Sr.

On June 21, 1959, Linda married Virgil Kenneth Juillerat Jr., who passed away on July 4, 2017. During their fifty-eight years together, they built a loving Christian family foundation. Linda had a deep faith and was an active member of North Manchester Missionary Church, where she participated in various committees, such as the funeral dinner committee, new building committee, and led the benevolent fund committee.

Known for her giving heart, strength, independence, and hardworking nature, Linda dedicated over 30 years of her professional life to Bay State Abrasives in North Manchester, eventually retiring in 1995. Alongside her career, she was also a devoted homemaker, having spent time previously at Peabody Seating Company.

An avid lover of games, Linda found joy in playing board games and cards, especially Euchre, Gin Rummy, and Aggravation. She always enjoyed watching the Indiana Fever on T.V. She had a playful side that endeared her to her family. Linda enjoyed watching her grandchildren engage in their various activities and oftentimes would color with her great-grandchildren.

The loving memory of Linda Juillerat will be forever cherished by her children, Dorene (Edward) Egner, Kimberly (Jeremy) Pohler, both of North Manchester, and Brad (Kiley) Seaney, Silver Lake; brothers, Charles Denton Jr., Markle and Floyd “Tom” Denton, Huntington; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Linda was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Virgil Kenneth Juillerat Jr.; son-in-law, Barry Fratus; brother, Emerson Leroy Denton; and sisters, Carolyn Deeg, Deloris Denton, and Catherine Denton.

Family and friends may call Thursday, July 31, 2025 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 1, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. with calling beginning at 9:00 a.m. Pastor Ken Sistrunk and Pastor Dan Binkley will officiate. Burial will be held at Beech Grove Cemetery, Huntington, Indiana.
