Loreen A. Hoover

Loreen A. Hoover, 84, North Manchester, IN died at 7:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home, Fort Wayne, IN. She was born September 15, 1927 in Gilead, IN to Lynn and Rhea (Rager) Landis. She was a 1945 graduate of Gilead High School, Gilead, IN. On April 9, 1951 she married John C. Hoover. Loreen was a homemaker and did in home babysitting for 30 years. She is survived by her husband, John C. Hoover, North Manchester, IN; one son, Robert (Jacqueline) Hoover, Chattanooga, TN; two daughters, Gina (Barry) Parker, Franklin, TN and Pam (Bob) Gearhart, Silver Lake, IN; two brothers, LeRoy (Rose Ann) Landis, Auburn, IN and Lloyd (Helen) Landis, Warsaw, IN; one sister, Lauretta Moore, Gilead, IN; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. One grandson is deceased. Family and friends may call Thursday, April 12, 2012 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 W, North Manchester, IN. Graveside services will be Friday, April 13, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, North Manchester, IN. Pastor J. P. Freeman will officiate.
