Mark Anthony Miller passed away on July 7, 2024, at the age of 48. He was born on April 2, 1976, to Diann (Robison) Applegate and his biological father, Mark Leroy Westafer, in Warsaw, IN, and resided in North Manchester.
Mark attended Manchester High School and was known for his passion for fishing and fearless pursuits in motocross racing. He was an exceptional welder and was a good worker, most recently working at Par-Kan in Silver Lake. A true family man, he selflessly prioritized the well-being and protection of his loved ones, never hesitating to put their needs above his own, making him Superman to his family. Mark was also remembered for his witty sarcasm which could light up any room.
The loving memory of Mark Miller will be forever cherished by his daughter, Alivia Bucher, Akron; biological father, Mark Leroy Westafer, Claypool; sisters, Cara (John) Amelio, Syracuse, Angie (Sarah) Westafer, Fort Wayne and Mysti (Greg) Welch, Wabash; brothers, Justin (Brianne) Miller, Wilmington, North Carolina, Steve (Heaven) Westafer, Larwill, and Dustin (Jen) Westafer, Fort Wayne; bonus son, Logan Robinson; godson, Mark McNeely; and his bonus family, Donna (Troy) Dietrich, Eddie (Barb) Blevins, Kendra (Jarrod) McClure and Jeremy (Ronzo) Blevins. Mark was preceded in death by his mother, Diann (Robison) Applegate; and his son, Cade Miller.
A celebration gathering to honor the life of Mark Miller will be held on August 24, 2024 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Scout Hall, 108 West 7th Street, North Manchester, Indiana. Burial will be private at Akron IOOF Cemetery in Akron, Indiana.
The family of Mark Miller has entrusted McKee Mortuary with care and final arrangements.
