Marsha Kay Monroe

Marsha Kay Monroe, born on September 25, 1949, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to Tiffin and Luella (Fuhrman) Vardaman, passed away on November 22, 2025, at the Peabody Healthcare Center in North Manchester, Indiana. She was 76 years old at the time of her passing.

Marsha's academic journey began at Grabill High School, where she graduated in 1967. For many years, Marsha worked for Glad Manufacturing, located just north of Atlanta, Georgia. After the factory's relocation, she returned to her roots in Indiana. In Pierceton, Indiana, Marsha found joy in working at the Stop and Go until her retirement in 2015.

On March 29, 2010, Marsha married Gary Monroe. A member of the Christian Church in Bippus, Marsha had a strong faith.

The loving memory of Marsha Monroe will be forever cherished by her husband, Gary Monroe, North Manchester; step-son, Brian Monroe, Akron; step-daughter, Beth (Paul) Monroe, Fort Wayne; brothers, Jim Vardaman, Fort Wayne, Larry (Sherrill) Vardaman, Syracuse, Deane Vardaman, Woodburn, and Don Vardaman, Fort Wayne; sisters, Carol Wilkerson, Lima, Ohio, Roxann Brewer, Rossford, Ohio, Jo Ann Belt, Phoenix, Arizona, Vicky Oertling, Fort Wayne, and Linda Lascalzo, Bradenton, Florida; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Marsha was preceded in death by her parents; and step-son, Barry Monroe.

The family of Marsha Monroe will grieve privately.
