Orvel M. Gish

Orvel M. Gish, 82, Claypool, IN died at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 24, 2016 in his residence. He was born October 11, 1933 in Modesto, CA to Orvel M. Sr. & Esther (Price) Gish. On July 6, 1952 he married Dolores M. Rockwell. Orvel was a farmer and cabinet maker. He was a member of the Eel River Old German Baptist Brethren Church, Silver Lake, IN. He is survived by his wife, Dolores M. Gish, Claypool, IN; son, Michael (Teresa) Gish, North Manchester, IN; daughters, Diane (Larry) Cripe, North Manchester, IN and Phyllis (James) Flory, Lawrence, KS; brother, Lyle J. (Lois) Gish, North Manchester, IN; sister, Nelda (Donald) Driver, North Manchester, IN; ten grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren. One brother, Arnold V. Gish, is deceased. Family and friends may call Friday, May 27, 2016 from 1:00-5:00 & 6:-9:00 p.m. at Eel River Old German Baptist Brethren Church, 2026 E 1200 S, Silver Lake, IN. Services will be Saturday, May 28, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Eel River Old German Baptist Brethren Church, 2026 E 1200 S, Silver Lake, IN. Home Brethren will officiate. Burial will be in Eel River Old German Baptist Brethren Cemetery, Silver Lake, IN.
