Patricia “Patti” Sue Allen, 73, passed away on August 29, 2026, at Prairie Lakes Health Campus in Noblesville, Indiana. She was born on December 12, 1952, in Warsaw, Indiana to Arthur Russell and Edna L. (Coldren) Tracy.
Patti lived a life marked by resilience, intelligence, and deep determination. A 1971 graduate of Manchester High School, Patti began her career at Warner-Brooder in North Manchester. After her daughter, Tracy Lynn Allen, died in 1978, she returned to school and built a new path in healthcare. She went on to serve as a respiratory therapist in the Fort Wayne area at Lutheran Hospital, where she worked faithfully for thirty-six years before retiring in 2016.
Beyond her work, Patti was known for the qualities that made her unforgettable to those around her. She had a wicked wit, a sharp sense of sarcasm, and keen intelligence. She worked hard, sacrificed deeply as a single mother, and brought strength and humor to the people in her life. She enjoyed going out to eat with her Fort Wayne Supper Club and found pleasure in reading, shopping, crossword puzzles, dining out, watching sports, and the comforts of home.
The loving memory of Patricia “Patti” Sue Allen will be forever cherished by her son, Jordan (Megan) Allen, Fishers; siblings, Shelly (spouse Tracy) Gilliland, Warsaw, Debbie Tracy, Fort Wayne, Larry (Joan) Tracy, Costa Mesa, California and Dick (Ann) Tracy, North Manchester; and two grandchildren, Corbin and Ryder Allen. Patti was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Tracy Lynn Allen; brother, Brett Tracy; and sisters, Linda Werking and Carol Haw.
