Pattie Sue Bonewitz, born on April 5, 1956, in Houston, Texas, to John and Shirley Ann (Jennings) Price Sr., passed away on January 15, 2026, at Wellbrooke of Wabash in Wabash, Indiana, at the age of 69.

Pattie graduated from Manchester High School in 1974 and quickly embarked on a diverse and fulfilling professional journey. Her career began at Peabody Seating Company, where she worked in assembly. Later, she became the proud owner and operator of Pitter Pats Pantry, a venture that allowed her to serve her community for many years. Pattie also dedicated part of her life to cleaning houses, a job she did with great care and compassion.

At the heart of Pattie's life was her deep love for family. On September 26, 1976, she married Ronald Bonewitz. As a devoted mother and grandmother, Pattie always placed the needs of her family above her own. She was known for her willingness to help others and her ability to look out for everyone around her, embodying the qualities of a truly remarkable woman.

Pattie was also a member of the Laketon American Legion Auxiliary Sunset Unit 402. Years ago, she attended Sweetwater Assembly of God.

The loving memory of Pattie Bonewitz will be forever cherished by her husband of forty-nine years, Ron Bonewitz, North Manchester; mother, Shirley Ann Price; North Manchester, sons, Matthew (Moniqua) Bonewitz, North Manchester, Aaron (Sherry) Bonewitz, Noblesville, and Collin Bonewitz, Wabash; grandchildren, Houston, Hayden, Hunter, Cora, and Alexis; and brothers, John Price Jr., South Bend, Dewey Price, Greentown, and Robert (Carol) Price, Fort Wayne. Pattie was preceded in death by her father, John Price Sr.; and grandchild, Cameron Bonewitz.

The family of Pattie Bonewitz will grieve privately.
