Robert E. Blocher

Robert E. Blocher, 72, North Manchester, IN died at 10:20 p.m. Sunday, November 6, 2011 at Peabody Healthcare Center, North Manchester. He was born January 23, 1939 in Wabash County, Indiana to S. Willis & Lelia (Baker) Blocher. He was a lifetime North Manchester area farmer and was in the business of buying, selling and trading cattle, horses, grain and hay. Surviving are three sons, Calvin R. (Sherri) Blocher, Waterford, CA; Lamoine R. (Nicole) Blocher, Modesto, CA; Darryl L. (Debra) Blocher, Chapman, KS. Seven grandchildren, Cole & Kristin Blocher, Waterford, CA; Spencer & Hannah Blocher, Modesto, CA; Chasity & Ashlee Blocher, Junction City, KS; Crystal Cox, Manhattan, KS and four great-grandchildren. Four brothers, Billie (Esther) Blocher, Joe (Bonnie) Blocher, Max (Sandra) Blocher and Marvin (Taffy) Blocher, all of North Manchester, IN. One sister, Ruthie E. (David) Brubaker, Pasco, WA. Services will be Saturday, November 12, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, IN. Friends and family may call on Friday, November 11, 2011 from 2 - 4 & 6 - 8 p.m. at McKee Mortuary. Larry Cripe will officate and burial will follow at Old German Baptist Brethren Cemetery, North Manchester, IN. For those who wish to honor the memory of Robert E.
