Sharon (Myers) Bradley

November 5, 1941 — February 19, 2024

North Manchester

Sharon Bradley, 82, North Manchester, passed away February 19, 2024, at Timbercrest Healthcare Center in North Manchester. The daughter of John Edward “Jack” and Mavis Eileen (Vergon) Myers, Sharon was born November 5, 1941, in Wabash.

After graduating from Central High School in 1959, Sharon wed Herbert “Hub" Bradley on July 9, 1961. The two were married for fifty-eight years and were blessed with two children, Jay D. and Jennifer. While Hub worked at the foundry, Sharon worked as a cook at Chester Elementary and then Lance's Deli. She ended her working years by spending a combined fifteen years as a bank teller for First Federal Bank and Crossroads Bank before retiring. Sharon enjoyed relaxing by quilting and playing with her two Labradors, Hershey and Pepper. Her wonderful sense of humor and great jokes will be missed by many. Sharon moved to Timbercrest after Hub died. Losing her caretaker and best friend was incredibly difficult for her.

The loving memory of Sharon Bradley will be forever cherished by her children, Jennifer (Bill) Barber, Warsaw, and Jay D. (Dee Dee) Bradley, Plainfield; sisters, Becky Naragon, North Manchester, and Janene (Wendel) Dawes, Urbana; three grandchildren, Mikaya Bradley, Corban Bradley, and Todd Barber; and great-grandchildren, Lola and Milo. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents and husband Hub Bradley on February 26, 2020.
