Anita Maxine (Graybill) Blocher

Anita Maxine Blocher, 81, North Manchester, passed away January 3, 2023, at Peabody Healthcare Center in North Manchester. Born November 28, 1941, in Goshen, Indiana, Anita was the daughter of the late Robert John and Edith Martha (Miller) Graybill.

Anita worked as a cosmetologist, CNA, and QMA before eventually retiring after many years of service. On June 27, 1958, she married Arthur Lee Blocher. The two were wed for fifty-nine years before Art passed away on October 29, 2017. They were blessed with four children, Linda, Robert, Roberta, and Patrick. Faith and church were always important to Anita, and she attended Laketon Wesleyan Church, where she was a member.

The loving memory of Anita Maxine Blocher will be forever cherished by her sons, Robert (Brenda) Blocher, Larwill, and Patrick (Tari) Blocher, Warsaw; daughters, Linda (Randy) Middleton, North Manchester, and Roberta (Paul) Slone, Macy; two brothers, Bruce Graybill and Brent Graybill, both of Goshen; one sister, Ida Mae Graybill, Goshen; sixteen grandchildren; thirty-nine great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. Anita was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Merle Graybill and Dennis Graybill; and one great-grandson, Russell Grindle, who passed away in 2017.

Friends and family may call Saturday, January 21, 2023, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester. Funeral services will begin at the conclusion of calling with Pastor Josh Warren officiating. Burial for Anita will be held at Eel River Old German Baptist Brethren Cemetery, 2128 East 1200 South, Silver Lake, Indiana.

Services for Anita Maxine Blocher, 81, North Manchester were Saturday morning at McKee Mortuary. Pastor Josh Warren officiated. Burial was at Eel River Old German Baptist Brethren Cemetery, Silver Lake. Pallbearers were Lincoln Graybill, Vernon Graybill, John Schafer, Nelson Blocher, Aaron Slone, and Robert Middleton. Honorary Pallbearers were Justin Slone, Randy Grindle, and Jason Robinson.
