I remember Ella Mae fondly. Paul, too, as principal. And Becky in Boulder Hill hostel -- the pet vulture, etc. Ella Mae was always so gentle and kind. May she find great peace and joy in the full presence of the Lord, and may you be comforted by loving memories and the prayers from so many from across the years. God's peace strengthen you. - Jim Beckwith

I loved Mr. and Mrs. Weaver very much. I felt so safe when they were at Hillcrest. Their clear interest in education and care for children was apparent. I am saddened to hear that she has died. But, oh, the stories that are getting told in heaven!

I remember Ella Mae as a loving and supportive presence at Hillcrest School. As a young elementary school girl, Hillcrest could be a scary, lonely place. She (and Paul) made a positive difference in my life.

God bless you as you celebrate her life and her love.

Rebecca, Thomas, and Leslie --
When I learned of your Mother's death today, I immediately felt a wave of gratitude for her good life. She was so kind to me at church and at the university. She always had an upbeat question or observation. She was smart, and she was wise. She was kind and hard-working. She lived out the principles of her faith in every interaction she had. We will miss her. I thank God for her good life.
