Gregory Allen Clark

Gregory Allen Clark, 65, North Manchester, Indiana, passed away in the early morning on September 1, 2022, at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana, Fort Wayne. The son of Harold “Sparky” and Lois (Hetler) Clark, Gregory was born on October 6, 1956 in Huntington County, Indiana.

After graduating from Manchester High School in 1975, Greg married Wanda Wireman King in 1975 and they were blessed with three children, Daniel, Jessica, and Rachel. Greg lived for his children and grandchildren, giving them each fun nicknames. Providing for his family, he worked as the head custodian at South Whitley Elementary for more than twenty years. While his health allowed, Greg enjoyed being outside mowing his yard and working on cars. He also enjoyed collecting model cars, watching the Chicago Cubs, football, and drinking coffee. Greg had a fun sense of humor and loved to laugh; he will be missed by the many that knew him.  

Greg was a member of Christian Fellowship Church in North Manchester. He believed that God should be kept first, things need to be prayed about, and the Bible should be read. During his health struggles, he kept a relentless spirit, and his faith remained steadfast.

The loving memory of Gregory Clark will be forever cherished by his son, Daniel (Alicia) Clark, Wabash; daughters, Jessica (Terry) Grinslade, Greentown, Indiana and Rachel (Kiowa) Ackley, North Manchester; brothers, Steven (Donna) Clark, Parkland, Florida and Michael Clark, Warsaw; sister, Rhonda (Kim) Bradley, Mentone; and three grandchildren, Tysen Grinslade, Tristin Grinslade, and Isabella Ackley. Gregory was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Kimberly Wolms; and sister-in-law, Donna Clark.

Family and friends may call Monday, September 5, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester. Funeral services will begin at the conclusion of calling with pastor Keith Allen officiating. Burial will be at Oaklawn Cemetery, 600 Beckley Street, North Manchester.
