Michael "Mike" Lloyd Boone

Michael “Mike” Lloyd Boone, 58, North Manchester passed away on July 14, 2020 at his residence surrounded by family. One of three children, Mike was the baby of the family, born on April 12, 1962 in Bluffton, Indiana to Billy and Mary K. (Wineke) Boone.

Mike graduated from Peru High School in 1980 and later graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business. On December 3, 1983, Mike married Jennifer Clinton and the two were wed for thirty six years. He will always be remembered for his dry sense of humor and was always quick with a joke. He deeply cared about his family and how they were getting along. He relished his time vacationing with his family, hiking, being in the mountains, and especially the national parks. He loved riding his motorcycle, ATV’s, and driving his Jeep. Mike was eager to teach his son and daughter and enjoyed building things, most recently his garage.

The memory of Michael “Mike” Lloyd Boone will be forever remembered by his wife, Jennifer Boone, North Manchester; son, Kyle (Leah) Boone, Paw Paw, Michigan; daughter, Allison (Kirk) Powers, Fort Wayne, Indiana; brother, Robert (Joellen) Boone, Greencastle, Indiana; sisters, Marsha Keller and Billie (Gary) Miller both of Peru, Indiana; grandchildren, Kane and Lily Powers. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Richard Keller.

Family and friends may call Friday, July 17, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, Indiana. Funeral services will be held at the conclusion of calling and Pastor J.P. Freeman will officiate.
