Patricia Marie (O'Dell) Herron

Patricia Marie Herron, 81, Port Charlotte, Florida, passed away on August 8, 2020. Born on December 22, 1938 in Howard County, Indiana, she was the daughter of Charles F. O’Dell and Marian R. (Benzing) Wampler.

For a long period in her life, Patricia lived in Wabash County, Indiana, and was a member of Woman of the Moose, Wabash Chapter 878. During her life Pat worked at GenCorp in Wabash, Indiana, Bertsch Vending Services in Wabash, Indiana, and retired at Trelleborg Automotive USA, Peru, Indiana; and then later worked part-time at Walmart, Wabash, Indiana. She enjoyed doing many things like boating, fishing and traveling, but most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The loving memory of Patricia Marie Herron will be forever cherished by her son, Daniel J. Herron, Wabash, Indiana; daughters, Deborah K. Strange, Port Charlotte, Florida, Sherri L. (Dennis) Schnepp, Port Charlotte, Florida; brother, Charles F. (Karolee) O’Dell, Wabash, Indiana; grandchildren, Aaron L. Schnepp and Alexandria N. Strange, both of Port Charlotte, Florida, Elizabeth L. Strange, St. Elmo, Illinois, James D. Willett, Columbia City, Indiana, Trever J. Herron, Wabash, Indiana; and great-grandchildren, Elijah P. Fira, Port Charlotte, Florida Nizhoni M. Willett, Columbia City, Indiana,. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Charles F. O’Dell and Marian R. (Benzing) Wampler; companion, Larry G. Holmes; brothers, Joseph F. and David G. O’Dell; and sisters, Sandra E. Lynn and Marcia A. Colwell.

Family and friends may call Saturday, August 7, 2021 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, Indiana. A celebration of Patricia’s life will begin at the conclusion of calling. Shirley Neale will officiate.
