Patricia "Pat" Louise (Murphy) Diaz Hernandez

Patricia “Pat” Louise Diaz Hernandez, 69, North Manchester, Indiana, passed away October 6, 2020 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, Indiana. One of three children, Pat was born September 27, 1951 in Wabash, Indiana, to John E. and Judy A. (Grimm) Murphy.

After graduating from Northfield High School in 1969, Pat married Ron Good. The two were married for twenty years and had three children together. After their divorce they remained good friends and raised their children together.

For over thirty years Pat worked for different divisions of Midwest Poultry Services.  In her younger years, Pat enjoyed camping, hunting mushrooms, and being outside with her family. Her family will always remember her fiery, strong willed, and spunky nature. She was proud of her independent personality. In some ways, it helped shape her daughters.

The loving memory of Patricia “Pat” Diaz Hernandez will be forever cherished by her mother, Judy A. Murphy, North Manchester, Indiana; three daughters, Tracy (Rich) Smith, Warsaw, Indiana, Stephanie (Rob) Martinez, Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Kelly (Nick Harvey) Good, North Manchester, Indiana; brother Richard “Dick” (Karla) Murphy, Cable, Ohio; sister, Linda (Jack) Harter, Warsaw, Indiana; and four grandchildren. Pat was preceded in death by her father, John E. Murphy.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held Saturday, October 10, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Congregational Christian Church, 310 North Walnut Street, North Manchester, Indiana.
