Tim Terrel Evans

Tim Terrel Evans, 73, Disko, Indiana, passed away on November 28, 2020 at Lutheran Hospital of Fort Wayne, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Born on March 17, 1947 in Kokomo, Indiana, Tim was the son of the late Charles “Bill” and Lauretta A. (French) Evans.

After graduating from Manchester High School in the class of 1965, Tim entered the work force. For many years he worked construction as a side job while also working at Dalton Corporation, Warsaw, Indiana. He was a tow motor driver for thirty-eight years before retiring in 2008. On May 26, 1979 Tim married Phyllis Baldridge. Tim was a wonderful, loving husband. He enjoyed coaching youth softball, football, and watching Jeff Gordon in NASCAR races. Tim was straightforward, told it how it was, and expected people to keep up their end of the bargain.

The loving memory of Tim Evans will be forever cherished by his wife of forty-one years, Phyllis Evans, Disko, Indiana; sons, Mike (Lupe) Evans, Roann, Indiana, Mickey (Dede) Evans and Matt (Lisa) Evans, both of Silver Lake, Indiana; step-son, Daniel Brubaker Sr., Rochester, Indiana; brother, Neil (Linda) Evans, Silver Lake, Indiana; sisters, Shirley (Roger) Marshall, North Manchester, Indiana, and Sandra (Dave) Reed, Silver Lake, Indiana; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Tim was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Terry and Jim Evans; sister, Patsy Evans; and two grandchildren, Alec Evans and Daniel Brubaker Jr.

Family and friends may call on Monday, November 30, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, Indiana. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. with calling starting at 10:00 a.m. at McKee Mortuary. Pastor J.P. Freeman will officiate. Burial will be held at Sidney Cemetery, State Road 13 and 850 South, Sidney, Indiana.
